Our new ultrasound machine is installed and it is time to say thanks to you for helping the local Knights of Columbus councils and Heartbeats raise the money necessary to receive the matching grant.  You are invited to a dedication celebration on Thursday, February 23, 2012.  We will gather at 6:00 pm for light appetizers and at 6:30 there will be a dedication by the local Knights of Columbus councils and prayer for the future lives that will be revealed and saved because of the machine. Thank you on behalf of those yet to be born that because you gave that baby will have a birthday and a future.

The 40 Days for Life campaign will be taking place this spring from February 22 through April 1 all across this nation. 40 Days for Life is a focused, community-wide campaign of fasting and prayer, outreach and peaceful vigil to end abortion. 

In conjunction with this, the Sanctity of Life Church Coalition of Licking County has planned Prayer on the Square & Life Chain for Saturday, March 24 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm in downtown Newark on the Square. This is a peaceful "prayer chain" and public (sidewalk) witness against abortion. Churches of ALL denominations, schools, youth groups, families, and all those who want to build a culture of life in our nation are invited.

The Coalition has also chosen Saturday, March 31st as the day to join Greater Columbus Right To Life and 40 Days for Life in the prayer vigil being held at the abortion facility at 5888 Cleveland Avenue in Columbus. Volunteers for one-hour shifts are needed for this 24/7 prayer vigil. The Greater Columbus Right to Life is interested in finding men's groups to take the 9 pm to 6 am hours. Perhaps your church has a men's group willing to take the night time hours. To sign up for a time to pray on March 31st or any time during the 40 days, go to gcrtl.org
